Friends Annual Meeting (2008)

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Farm, Inc. was held at the Yearling Restaurant in Cross Creek on May 3. New officers were installed and guests viewed a documentary about Marjorie Rawlings, Creative Fire.

Friends Annual Meeting (2006)

Our Spring Annual Meeting was held at the Tenant House on the grounds. This is the greatest spot to hold events, under the shade of the orange trees with the porch as a back drop. After the business part of the meeting, Murray told us about some of what went into her research and written efforts to apply for the National Historic Landmark Nomination. She has put forth a tremendous piece of work. We're anxiously awaiting the final word from the Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
